Born in Malaga in 1986, Angel Rodriguez moved to a small town near Barcelona at the age of three. His passion for photography began in adolescence, using one of the earliest digital cameras—a plastic, almost toy-like device that sparked his fascination with capturing moments. Over time, this initial curiosity grew into a dedication, as he found himself captivated not only by the art of taking photos but also by the process of editing them. He could spend hours in front of a screen, losing track of time as he meticulously worked to find the best result.
Angel pursued formal training in photography and audiovisual studies, building on his self-taught foundations and refining his skills. While he enjoys various photography styles, portrait photography resonates most deeply with him. Capturing the essence of a person in a single frame is a challenge he finds endlessly rewarding, and through each portrait, he seeks to reveal the unique stories and personalities of those in front of his lens.
Traveling has also played a profound role in Angel's journey as a photographer. He carries his camera wherever he goes, documenting the people and cultures he encounters and finding beauty in the diversity of lives and lifestyles around the world. His love for black-and-white photography reflects his admiration for timeless imagery—capturing depth, emotion, and a sense of authenticity that color can sometimes obscure.
